Equine Photography

My love of horses never fades. An owner and rider I understand the joy and connection between horse and rider. The routine and nature of such graceful animals needs to be understood to be photographed to the best advantage. Knowledge of when and where is the best time and place to pose them with or without their owner can only be acquired by someone relaxed and understanding of their nature. I know the risks and benefits that come with working with horses and this aids me in my approach. I work in field or stable, often incorporating the landscape into the picture to create beautiful holistic images of these animals in their own environments.
